Artist Statement
We are being bombarded by new technology, hi-speed information and inner city lifestyle. We are trapped. We can merely wish that we could vanish into a dream space. Thus, the work is focused on the concept of Escapism. The white figure represents the subconscious. It does not have prominent features, which easily allows the audiences to associate with.
While the individually modelled hands appear to be birds.
